I never realized how many people actually pay attention to me on here.
Its very flattering. Thank you for recommending music, my iPod will work for its money.

The intention of this blog is not only to speak my mind, but to also hear what you have to say.

How different do you guys think the world will be in terms of war/peace and natural resources in 5-10 years? This topic always interested me, but I never really sat down and did research.

So enlighten me with your opinions, and share some facts.
Lets have a conversation.

Не отрекаются любя.
I don't know what will happen really, I don't expect whatever it is to be good that's for sure, not the way we're living... but sometimes it's nice to hope that things will turn around, who knows.

"all i know is that i know nothing."
I believe that either the world will be much, much better, and striving for change.
OR, we'll be much, much worse.. and falling to ruins.

It all depends on what the people choose. Sure, there are those of us out there who are becoming neo-hippies, and pushing for change- but most of the world is content to sit around and enjoy the comfortable lifestyle they're accustomed to. People fear change, especially change that requires them to work, or to lose something they have.

The sad truth is that even if we begin to implement laws, and launch projects to clean the earth- we might not see any changes IN the next ten years. It's a process that will take many, many years.. reversing ALL the damage that's been done since the Industrial revolution isn't an easy feat :/

And war wise.. if we don't set forward to change things with our natural resources, or find alternatives.. wars are going to break out over the meager supplies we have left. The US is going to flatten Canada to get its hands on our water, and oil. The fights will start, and have already been threatened to start in some areas where rivers flow through more than one country.

It won't be pretty, and it won't be easy. Change can be done, but the chances of us actually doing it?
Sliiiim.

In the next 5-10 years I think war/peace may not change, but I think the human race may be evolving beyond war/peace and similar concepts soon anyway.

Natural resources are being researched every day - a prime example here: [link] One of my online friends (as you can see) is very interested in what science can be doing to save & reuse any natural resources that we have. I'll try & keep you posted.

I'm pleased your iPod's happier now )
